I Spent the Night in a Gallery Marinating in Art

As part of my membership to The Girdwood Center for The Visual Arts I am committed to spend a few days a year in the Gallery. To save on a hotel room I brought my air mattress and slept in the gallery. In the morning I went to the Aleyeska Prince Hotel and had a lovely therapeutic swim in the salt pool, had a whirlpool, a sauna and a beautiful walk. While working the gallery people from all over the world stop in to browse and buy I met people from Germany, Minnesota, Georgia, and Netherlands all over the world. They all say where is your art? And I am proud to show them!

I loved the title of your post. It makes me want to spend the night in a fantastic gallery now. How is Alask treating you? I have always wanted to go backpacking. I have heard it is quite the mecca for artists!

Hi Mike,
Akaska is treating me good I never expected to live here 10 years. My plan is when I get old I am going to learn Spanish and move to South America and play on the warm sandy beach.

Hi Judy! Hey, are those three paintings ones that you did? I love them, especially the giraph! (I don't think I spelled that right) anyway, it's cool that you're a memeber of that group, I have to get my act together!
