As with all great notions it started with a daydream; move to Alaska and settle down in a cozy cabin, next to a lake, with my beloved other, my dogs and family. Paint and make ART to my hearts content. It's been a long road, today I am fortunate to have realized that dream. My blog is mostly about ART and sometimes everything else.

Another Day Another Layer
Another glaze of dioxazine purple and left to dry overnight, the paint is thin now but subesequent layers will build up pigment in a methodical controled way. Tomorrow I am really going to get into these paintings.
I love seeing work in progress. Please put them back on when they are finished! How are you dear Judy? Cold here in NY and snow on the ground since a few weeks before Christmas. Doesn't get above freezing much these days. Is it spring yet? xxxp
OK I will be sure to put the finished peices up. It has not been as cold up here in Alaska an inNY but Spring is nowhere in site. We are doing to Costa Rica in about a month. I'm planning a trip to the Arenal Volcano now.
